Bags at retail are now charged, why are dodgy charities exempt ?
No handles on the bags ?

But, as above, they do fill in the gap left by losing freebie supermarket bags for the disposal of rubbish.

Most of the people who put bags through your door are businesses. Also bags have been stolen from by us before they can be collected. Anecdotally I have been told that one of the companies goes through the bags, takes out all the "good stuff" then takes the rest to the tip. If you want the charity of your choice to benefit take it directly to the shop then you know that it has been received and it can usually be gift aided too.
