I have finished a total inventory of my make up, nail varnish and beauty stuff and have 330 items.

What has shocked me is how many I have off the same item on the go at once so this has focussed my 6 for spring into this list:

1. Body lotions: No7 super Slim Anti-Cellulite contouring balm, Sanctuary Spa Therapies Revive Replenishing Hydra Tonic and Sanctuary Relax Melting Body Fondant. All three are half used so should be able to finish one a month.

2. Hair removal: Boots Smooth Care hair Removal Cream, Nair Moisturising Hair Removal Cream, Gillette Satin Care Avocado Twist Shaving Gel. The removal creams are half used and the Shaving Gel is a new tin.

3. Eyes: No7 Amazing Eyes Pencil in brown. I have two of these on the go again half used.

4. Lipsticks: OMG I have so many of these in use so will try and use up the following: No7 Moisture Drench Highland Mist, No7 Moisture Drench Mulberry, No7 Stay Perfect Lip Laquer Chilli and No7 High Shine Lip Gloss.

5. Nails: Cutex Acetone Free Nail Varnish Remover, Sesationail Nail gel remover and Elegant Touch Nail Remover - all three are usedwith the Cutex about 1/5th left so that will be my first target.

6. Face: again lots of products on the go so will try and use up: No7 Soft and soothed Gentle Cleanser, No7 Glyconic Peel System, No7 Radiance Revealed Exfoliator for Face, No7 Heavenly Hydration Moisture Mask, No7 Uplifting Firming Mask

From this my PP list for January is:
1. No7 Soft and soothed Gentle Cleanser
2. Cutex Acetone Free Nail Varnish Remover
3. No7 Moisture Drench Highland Mist
4. No7 Stay Perfect Lip Laquer Chilli.
5. No7 Amazing Eyes Pencil in brown
6. Boots Smooth Care hair Removal Cream
7. No7 super Slim Anti-Cellulite contouring balm
8. No7 Smoothing and Brightening Eye Base
9. Boots Gorgeous Feet Senstionally Smooth Foot Scrub.

I'm the same with lipstick, loads of them on the go. I have a bowl on the hall table next to the front door and me and DD keep some of them in there and some lipbalm too. Everytime I leave the house I apply whichever one I am trying to uu, at the moment every school run and dog walk sees me sporting a dark cranberry lip topped with gloss. If I don't do this I will never finish what I have in this lifetime.
Used up moo goo shampoo sachet, was so disappointed it did not launder, thankful it was a free sample. I normally love moo goo.
Finished a dr hauschka shower gel- it was ok but the bath essence was lovely. The lancome eclat miracle is on its last legs.

Has anyone ever tried face atlier whitening or darkening foundations, to add to a foundation that is not matching the winter skin tone. I have seen it recommended in youtube videos by Lisa Eldridge and other articles. I think if it worked it- what a money saving product it would be to make your foundation that is lurking in a draw till June comes around- suitable for winter time. apparently, they can make the foundations paler or darker or add more yellow to a foundation that was a mistaken purchase. It would be great to know if it really works because it costs over £35

I've heard of the drops but haven't seen or tried them but like VALM I had also heard that Body Shop were going to/already are doing some.

Happy New Year everyone!

Thanks for the new start Deleted_User and welcome to all the newbies!

Sounds like everyone has had a busy and lovely Christmas and New Year.

I UU my last Benefit foundation on Christmas day so I'm counting that as the Christmas Challenge completed! I was so excited for it to be finally over. I have very few non-vegan products left now.

I had many lovely products from Lush which I'm really please with. I'd got my stash under control and was just using run of the mill stuff as I was hoping for some Christmas ins! The haul included:

Veganese hair conditioner
No drought dry shampoo
Rose Jam shower gel
Curly Wurly Coconut Shampoo
Happy Happy Joy Joy Conditioning Hair Perfume
Peace Massage Bar
Ro's Argan Body Conditioner
And a soap that wasn't in the packet so not sure what it is!
I also had a set of bath bombs from another relative but I don't have a bath! They smell amazing so would prefer to use than regift (especially as I have no birthdays until March) so does anyone have any ideas for other uses?

We went away for New Year to Bucharest, Romania. We UU quite a few toiletries as they were all under 100ml and there was so much smoke in the bars out there I had to shower a million times a day! I didn't keep track of what has gone but they were mostly hotel toiletries, our 2 plastic bags were very empty on the way back! I will need to restock them for our trip to Amsterdam in a few weeks.

I'm not really sure where my stash is at now or how many products I have as I seem to have lost count. I think I will do a brand new stock take this week and type it up so that it's easier to keep track of.

I seem to have missed the 6 by spring challenge... can I join and what is it? :rotfl::rotfl:

I've just seen on YouTube that The Body Shop is releasing these drops this year. Whether we will get them in the UK I don't know but would surely cost less?

The Body Shop already has these drops in stock in the UK and they seem to be very popular! I've never been able to get the lightening drops as they're always out of stock but I saw the darkening ones in store the other day. I was going to buy them but they looked to be a cool dark brown and I have warm undertones so I don't know if they'd suit me. Also, the staff practically leapt on me the moment I walked in and that's one of my biggest bug bears when shopping so I didn't want to buy anything after that. :rotfl:

Anyway, I'm definitely in for 2016. I went absolutely, ridiculously over the top with purchases in the past couple of months. I've even had to buy more storage to keep it all in!!!

I've put myself on a strict "no buy" for the foreseeable future now but I still have quite a few INs coming in the next week or so. The only things I'm permitting myself to buy are my under eye concealer and eyebrow pencil because they're my HGs and I have no backups for them as a result. They're both on their way out so will pick up replacements today when I go pick up yet another click and collect parcel from Boots...

It's a challenge seen on You Tube whereby you choose six items that you are going to target and UU by March 20 2016. Not too late to join though as it has only started this week.

I have another UU:-

Tresemme shampoo - can't remember the variety except it was in a black bottle. This was the huge 900ml size. I don't want to buy these sizes again as although they are great value the bottles become quite cumbersome to squeeze after a while. When I was clearing out my wardrobe before Christmas I came across a new Tresemme conditioner in the same size so once this has gone I won't repurchase these. Can't say that they have done wonderful things for my hair either. I now only have travel sizes of shampoo in my stash however I think I will use my Philosophy Pumpkin Icing shower gel as shampoo as it is designed as such also.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

One UU for me last night which was a pack of Boots Face Wipes. have another pack in my stash but I am going to try and use Cleanser and toner for a while as I have a few of these in my stocks and keep resorting to the quick wipes.

One more UU for me today...

4.Royale Bouquet Collection by Baylis and Harding Lilac and English Lavender Body Cream 200ml.

Cannot believed I used this up since I hate using creams but this winter because of all the heating my skin has been feeling quite dry. I normally cant stand creams that I get in gift sets or with perfumes but this was good. Just hope I can go through my other lotions the same way.

Another 2 UU's -

Avon Attraction Perfume 10ml - I really liked this and it smelled amazing. Will buy some more when I have used some of my other perfumes.

Boots Extracts Spiced Apple Body Lotion 50ml - Loved the smell of this and it soaked in really quick.

Happy New Year ladies! A warm welcome to all the newbies and thanks for starting us off this month Deleted_User. :)

I'm still plodding along with the challenge although I haven't been posting lately. My progress is very slow and I've had a few ins, mainly from charity shops. I did also allow myself to buy a couple of bits from the Boots sale using some gift vouchers I collected from doing surveys. Confessional photo below - one item is for my husband though!

Also I have stopped doing a Project Pan list as there were always one or two items I never finished so it started to make me feel bad. Instead I took a photo of my empties from the last few weeks:

Dec_outs_zpsv0bkssln.jpg

Imperial Leather Foamburst Luxurious Body Wash Sweet Vanilla & Cherry Blossom 200ml - I bought this on clearance for 99p and I really liked it. I would buy it again when I run out of shower products in about 40 years!
Batiste Hint of Colour Medium & Brunette Dry Shampoo 200ml - This was OK but I prefer the dry shampoo without colour. I have another of these in the stash but will not repurchase.
Batiste Nourish & Enrich Dry Shampoo 200ml - This was fine and smelt gorgeous. I will buy it again in future.
COLAB Dry Shampoo London 50ml - Purchased this small size from a sale to compare it with Batiste. Nothing special and I have other fragrances still unused in the stash.
Unknown SH75 branded shampoo 75ml - This was one of my ins from a product trial back in October. I liked it but have no idea what it was. The matching conditioner is also nearly gone.

I had a couple of NPIs lately but have managed to resist. I may cobble together some sachets later for an easy Project Pan list to get me back on track. :rotfl:
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/
