I went into my local Clintons today and as I was there getting cards they brought a big box out and started taking all the cards off the shelves that were in the 3 for £2 Christmas offer - I will literally selecting them from under them! Might mean this has finished overall now - I managed to get 12 lovely ones though so thank to OP

2 stores in my town, with quite different stock, still lots of Christmas 3 for £2 today, but also a decent collection of Birthday cards now added to the offer.

When they did it a couple of years ago it was only on a day or two so yeah they never seem to leave it on for long.
They'll want the space for Valentine's Day & also Mothers Day which is particularly early along with Easter this year.
Glad you got some nice ones; I got some beautiful ones.

Shame they're not doing the 3 for £1 deal they did a couple of years back. Luckily I stocked up for a good few years at the time! The Xmas stock in Liverpool was at 75% off yesterday so got lots of nice bits. The checkout staff were having to manually add the 75% off and it was proving difficult, so I somehow managed to get about 85% as she got it all wrong!

Very disappointed after reading so many accounts above of fabulous cards for low low prices.
My nearest Clintons has only reduced their prices to 50% off, and no multi-buy offers.
They did have some Yankee Candles on a stand showing 50% - but it may well have been "up to" in small type in there as well.
Label on bottom of jars said £18.99 - had at least 2 types - green and red. One smelt gorgeous, other pretty disgusting - imo.

Gifts went 70% off in our Clintons yesterday. DD got lots of things, including loads of little bits and pieces suitable for teacher's end of term/Christmas gifts. And with three young girls that's a lot of little gifts needed to hand out! Sadly Yankee candles weren't included but other candles were.

Cards still only 50% though!
