In Clintons today the individual Christmas cards not 99p each or 3 for £2!!

we got 24 yankee tea lights (xmas smell) in clintons yesterday for £6.98,they had quite a few YC at 50% off

Hundreds of cards in our Clintons yesterday, really wish they would just sell them for a sensible price to start with. Some cards marked £6, really? £6 for a bit of thin card?

Never buy cards from Clintons as they are a total rip-off price.

I go to my local G&T World of Cards Ltd shop, where you can get really good Xmas and birthday cards for less than £2-00 and they are excellent quality. I must pop in there soon as they will be selling Xmas cards half-price so will pick up a few bargains.

Don't buy anything in Clintons as they are real rip-off merchants.

Clintons normally have a day/week when all Christmas stock goes to 75% off - does anyone know when this may be?

Bought some the other day. Some beautiful cards that were originally approx £5.

You are right, they do. I had forgotten! DD dropped lucky last year, by accident, and got loads of stuff. I will ask her if she remembers and post again if she does!

Got 4 Xmas cards reduced in G&T today for £2-09. Fantastic quality and much cheaper than Clintons even with their creative sale prices.

I got 6 beautiful individual family cards for £4.00 yesterday including a really lovely jewel encrusted one with penguins on and a light up one both of which were selling at £6.00 each before Christmas.


I'd never normally pay £6.00 for a card and only buy sale stuff from Clintons as I agree they are highly over priced and I know you could still pick up 6 nice Christmas cards for less than £4.00 elsewhere but for the sake of a few pence more the quality is a notch above and it enables me to give better cards to my family than I'd normally be able to afford to.


I got a few when they did it a couple of years ago and I was just coming to the end of them so got enough to last me a couple more Christmas's as I missed it last year (can't recall them doing it). They only kept it on for a couple of days the Christmas before so you have to grab them whilst you've got chance!
