I'm not keeping a total of this one - I total all my other pots so something needs to be a surprise. I have put a few in this week and DH says he's put in at least £2 worth so the pot is filling nicely. The person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.

So I'm now at £9.200 -
Out of curiosity, do you change your coins every now and again or do you keep them as 20p's until the end of the year. I've got about £22 now so wasn't sure of the best route forward. I may need a much bigger jar if I'm keeping them as 20p's!!!m20p Savers (£22.20/£100)

At the start of the year I had a biscuit tin with circa £80 worth of 20ps. Have set myself challenging but reasonable targets for paying off my debts and putting some money away, and am doing very well except for the fact that I've been digging heavily into that tin, as it was unbudgeted money. Just did a count and only five weeks in I'm down to £15.80
My target is to get it up to £100 by the end of November, so that I have it available for naughty personal spends at Christmas and therefore the only additional costs on top of my usual budget will be presents.
Have cut a slit in the top of the biscuit tin. It has now been sealed with cellotape, which I'm almost certain is impenetrable.0
