Have been missing from MSE for a while due to poor health and stress from work, sadly this has seen old habits "over spending" creep in. This includes on the Credit Card 😞. Thankfully I came across a MSE email today and it made stop in my tracks before things get too out of hand.

I know there's only 4 months left of this year but I'd love to get back into overpaying my loan. I'm aiming for £1000 by the end of the year.

£20.00 this week, my overpayments this month have more than cancelled out the interest added - happy with that.

    Hello all :hello:

With just 8 weeks left of the year I would like to join. I am off work ill and I am one of those people who can't rest or not be busy, so I am joining a whole host of new threads as I want to clear my debts ASAP, more ASAP than I previously wanted.

I think my usual extra payment day will be Friday, with the exception of this week when it will be today, I have thrown £7.70 at my Carp-ital CC, and I hope to be throwing similar amounts to the cards.

Because I also post on the Payment a Day thread, my one rule is my Extra Weekly Payment has to be more than the highest Payment I made during the week on the Payment a Day thread. Even if only by a few pennies.

Good luck for the rest of the year everyone.
