I ordered quite a lot of stuff from amazon at the end of November. A craft kit sold by amazon never arrived, sent by yodel and presumed lost. It's turned up today and I have contacted amazon and been sent a returns label. I was refunded for this 2 weeks ago.
All sorted :-)
Ordered quite a heavy book. Never received it. Seller refunded and I ordered a different book, from the same seller, which he recommended as similar. Seller advised he would claim from Royal Mail. This is a marketplace seller.
Second book dispatched signed for on the 10th December. Seller was aware I needed the book as a Christmas present. Book never arrived, tracking never updated. Cue, emergency dash to but replacement present. Christmas Eve afternoon, both books turn up! Notified seller and he said I have to keep one of the books, he is not refunding again. I have offered to show him receipt for replacement present but he says no. He also says I have to return the initial book immediately, at my cost.
Is this correct? The books turned up to late. The original book was sent normal mail, yet I still told him it arrived and he's claimed from RM anyway. Not sure why I should have to pay tracked postage to return these.
Would be grateful for any advice. Thank you.
Update: seller has said he will take both books back but I am liable for return costs and it must be tracked and insured. Books value about £50 for both
He will then process a refund

Look like your claim should be covered. You'll likely need to be logged into your amazon account to see the options. If you struggle with it, just give them a call/webchat (with amazon themselves).
Good luck and let us know how you get on

Chose the problem item.
Click on Return or Replace Items.
Answer the question Why are you returning this? - maybe by choosing Missed estimated delivery date from the dropdown list.0 -
This is most bizarre.
I have just had an email from to say that a parcel I ordered to be collected from my post office has been returned to them as it has not been collected.
I collected the parcel weeks ago!
Anyone else had this?0 -

Have you checked your orders in case they broke an order down into multiple deliveries?
I've just had a message to say that I need to wait an extra day or two for a delivery. I can see that it has been stuck at a royal mail centre 50 miles away since the early hours of this morning after having left the Amazon depot last night .... the depot which is a less than 10 minute drive from my house
. Every scr*w up I have with Amazon happens when they give it to RM! 0
