When I originally booked it, the cost per passenger was £276 (including a motorcycle), a 2 berth outside cabin was £100 out and £110 on the return.
Now it's £322 each for the extra passengers and bikes, with the cabins staying the same.
Our outward sailing is also now fully booked.

So not sure I'd leave it too long if I needed a particular route on particular dates.

Yeah- I just priced up our intended crossing (mid May out, early June back) and while there is a lot of availability on the Spain trips, the price has crept up £50-odd since I looked over a month ago! Maybe the effect of the pound dropping against the euro as BF are a French Company?

But I guess that if you have already booked for June 2017 you're booking either a "ferry-only" crossing, or one with casas/villas. The "ferry & holiday" option for 2017 hotels hasn't opened on their website yet?

So while I s'pose there's no guarantee that they'll have an early booking discount on hotel packages, like in the past few years, I'm happy to wait a couple of weeks, as historically, adding a hotel gets you better package prices.

But as I say, thanks for the tip; I hope you have good weather for the trip on the bikes; those roads through the Picos de Europa are amazing and they have "biker- friendly" lower-level crash barriers on the bends; unlike higher UK ones which just let you slide under them; not that you plan to come off, of course.

Just the ferry for us, we'll probably book the first night's hotel in advance but after that it'll be wherever the weather and inclination take us, booking on the day

Brittany Ferries' 2017 discount on hotel-ferry holiday packages has opened- 20% off, but only til 29 Nov.

In fact, as prices are up 20% on last year, you need the discount; allons-y! Vite, vite!

Bumping this up (late Jan 2017) as BF have announced another, second short 20% off 2017 hotel or casa/cottage holidays booked by 7 Feb; don't recall them doing this more than once a year (other than some late season last minute deals). Maybe they've got less advance sales than in past years?
