Kitchen from Magnet or Magnet Trade

Hi
I've just put down a refundable deposit from Magnet for a modest kitchen design (~5k without fitting).
Our fitter says he uses both Howdens & Magnet, so we got quotes from both - Howdens sent all estimates through the fitter so we have no idea how much each item is, whereas Magnet have dealt solely with us and gave us a fully-itemised description of what we're buying.
The shop say 'Magnet & Magnet Trade' above the door, the quote has a header with 'Magnet Trade', yet at no point did they require the details of our fitter.
Is there any benefit in terms of cost or consumer law etc of going through the trade arm rather than the retail arm of Magnet?

A genuine Magnet Trade price should be significantly lower than a Magnet Retail price. This is a fundamental of business. However it is up to the consumer to check this out.
In theory the Magnet Trade price will be pitched against the Howdens price when negotiating where the order will be placed.0
