Should also say that I have never had such lovely delivery drivers as my 2 dfs ones. I'm in a flat and normally they whinge about the stairs yet these didn't bad an eye. Worth considering if getting from a charity shop as I think they deliver to kerb only0

Obviously the disadvantage is you can't physically "try out" the sofa before purchase, but they will send you fabric samples and I can vouch that the quality and customer service is fantastic.
Also I'm pretty sure they have an X days no quibble returns policy, but double check this rather than taking my word as gospel.
I recommend them too.0 -
We've got a nearly 3 yr old and our dfs sofa has fared well!
All I'd say is if the covers are removable and say they can't be washed then in our case this is not true! Stick em in the wash on a very delicate cycle and they're fine.
Or on the other hand if the covers aren't removable borrow/buy in a carpet cleaner.. we were given an old sofa that was filthy and "impossible" to clean so was going to go to the tip.. I borrowed my mums vax carpet cleaner and set it on it.. it took a few attempts but what we thought was a brown sofa turned out to be a cream one and is as good as new!
I'd not buy the most expensive sofa, but don't settle for a crappy one if you don't want to. They can always be cleaned! (fixing is another matter tho??!!)0
