Delete photo in picasa web

Hi
Can anyone help please, every time i attach a photo to send in Gmail, it opens a box with the options to upload photos, there are really old photos in there and i can't work out how to get rid of them
I have deleted all photos in G+ and i have never used picasa, and my phone isnt synced in photo's so no idea how they have ended up in picasa ?
After a bit of googling, I have found some in folders in picasa web, but there is no option to delete them, it's driving me mad? How do i get rid of these files please?
Or the old photos when i am attaching to an email?
