ELC/Mothercare Refund Reminder

Just a reminder to anyone who ordered online for click and collect but then never collected you do not automatically get refunded, you have to phone 03712313513 and ask for a refund.


Unfortunately staff do not know their own refund policy, I was first told refunds couldn't be made online, I had to phone my local store, local store then said I had to come into the store even though I had never picked the item up.


Fed up I went to the website help section. It clearly states that online orders for click and collect that are not collected can be refunded by phoning the above number, only orders placed instore have to be dealt with instore. So I phoned again, this time I received my refund but only after the person went off to check if it was ok!


I don't make a habit of not collecting items but I do know most stores automatically refund if you don't collect an item and I had assumed ELC worked the same way.
