    GAH!

trying to whittle down the Christmas card list! as fast as I cross people off and say 'we'll email them' DH adds them, saying 'oh, its nice to send them a card' !!! ARGHHH!
think I'm going to let him write and post his, and then I will do the essentials ( such as aunts etc who NEED a card ) and everyone else will get a email ... if they really need to, they can print it off!

:):) There was a proper craze for going stuff with pebbles in the seventies, including tumbling them in little machines to polish them :rotfl:

I still have these kept in an earthenware marmalade jar and useful for keeping flowers upright in a vase. I love them so tactile.

:) Am now back at my flat and have just stuck an item up on freegle which I expect to be popular and will now put the pooter to bed and leave any wannabe takers until tomorrow evening to respond. I fetched it home from my parents' place on the bus.

Have a good 'un, one and all. GQ xx

I have posted on FB that we aren't sending cards except for a few not on FB. Donated to the Red Cross and Yemen DEC appeal instead. Job done :T (I omitted to say that another reason for not doing them is that it's a ballache - thought that wasn't very festive :p)

Wonderful news Tealady - congratulations to the new parents and grandparents. What a lovely Christmas present xx
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle
  • Congratulations Tea Lady, wow what a whoppa! Hope the move goes well.

Definitely brought back a few memories, covered pebbles and tumble machined 'semi precious' stone necklaces.

    Take care everyone
