First Direct £150 switch

I see that First Direct are now offering £150 to switch accounts. I signed up with them to switch last week when the offer was £100. I have rang up today and been told that I cannot get the £150 even though I have not yet done any banking with them. I even suggested that I could get the £100 for signing up and then receive another £100 in 6 months for cancelling (this is another offer they are currently running) - I was told I can do this if I want, but they won't give me the £150 as a new customer. This does not really sound like the great customer service that always comes out in their surveys. Is there a way I can get the £150 or do I just have to accept the fact that I joined a week earlier. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Offer terms can and do change from time to time. Accept it and move on.0

If they'd changed their switching bonus from £100 to £50 after you'd signed up, would you be happily volunteering to reimburse them £50?0
