What are my rights here?

I purchased a PS4 bundle which came with 2 games (listed as one item in my basket). I received confirmation of delivery from the courier for the whole package, yet it arrived with only one of the games. The retailer said they do this all the time, send the items separately but my issue is that one of the cables isn't working but I can't take it back for an exchange as my invoice in the delivery package states it comes with 2 games. They told me there is nothing I could do but wait for the other game to arrive which could take up to 7 working days so in the meantime I have a console that doesn't work which I can't take back. Are they allowed to send items separately like that? They weren't different items in the basket, and now that they have, what are my rights with regards to the faulty cable?

I also have no proof that they have sent the other game as it was one tracking number I received and I also have no proof that I didn't receive the other game as the package is listed as one item in the invoice0

Don't know but asking them will get you the answer you seek.
So its the cable for charging the controller and it doesn't work via the wall socket.0 -
Some stores will expect all the contents, some will want everything complete.
A bit different but i returned a pond pump, gave the shop a pile of faded receipts and said its one of those, but the dates are faded i bought it on. I expected them to swap the pump only but they gave me a brand new one complete with all the fittings and said to keep them.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
