Kinetic Underwriting

Hi,

I've been having some problems with Kinetic motor insurance or underwriting - namely getting my money back following a chip on my windscreen. They didn't know who the correct windscreen repairer was and I ended up having to pay out of my own pocket and claiming the money back (on their advice). Three months later I still haven't been reimbursed. It's a small sum - but even so three months is far too long and I have had to chase them, and a series of other companies they use, several times.

I just wondered if anyone else has had problems with this company and if so what they did to get their money back. Or if they had a direct contact for Kinetic.

Who is the underwriter? Who are the 'series of other companies'?


Does your policy booklet have a complaints procedure?

Never heard of Kinetic.

What information was on your Policy Documents?

It is possible they are only a Broker and the actual policy was provided by somebody else.

I have certainly never heard of Kinetic Insurance.

A quick Google shows a Kinetic Insurance in Aldgate.

But it doesn't mention vehicle Insurance only more specialised types of Insurance.

Maybe there are a couple of Brokers with similar names.
