Just to explain myself to those who are getting excited about me taking before and after pics, I had taken the first pic to show to my friend who was also contemplating buying one.
I contacted Robert Dyas and their 'explanation' was as clear as mud.
I'll be spending my £69.99 elsewhere 😬Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

You have to understand that consumers are buying from the internet more nowadays and the shops are fighting for survival so they'll use every trick in the book to extract the most money from your pocket.
BTW I used to work on the advertising for MFI back in the day on their 'never ending' sales.“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself.”

See I don't find that unusual. If I'm out I'll often see something and send a photo via whats app along the lines of 'have you seen this?' or 'shall we get one of these?'
I delete my photos once in a blue moon so am very likely to have the original image on my phone.
They perhaps then saw the second image and took a pic to compare.0 -

before the xmas/boxing day sale there was Black Friday.
people seem to have forgotten.0 -
When I worked in retail we used to have "half price sales". We called them "£10 off sales" as most of the large ticket items were really only £10 off the normal selling price.
I went into an outdoor clothing shop that had "everything half marked price" and as expected everything was at least 50% dearer than the week previous. I did manage to find one little bargain that they had missed though0
