PIP question.

I am on dla and like everyone I know my pip letter could arrive any day now.
My next dla payment is due on 19th January, the washine machine has broken, it's old and beyond repair and my father in law has offered to lend us some money to replace it.
The only way we can pay him back is from my next dla but I am scared to accept his offer in case it has been stopped by then.
Let's say they contact me tomorrow for example and the process begins, if they turn me down for pip obviously my dla ends but how likely is it that the whole process would be complete and decided by 19th January?
As said, no invite yet but am trying to prepare for the worst, really could do with replacing the washing machine though

The process of transfering to PIP is they write to you first asking you to apply. To start your application off you ring PIP. Then they send the forms which would take up to 10 working days to recieve. Your next DLA payment is due in approx 3 weeks so impossible to have a decision on PIP by then when you've not even applied yet.0
