I got a pack of Hot Cross Buns in Iceland on the Tuesday before Xmas and we enjoyed them toasted for supper the same day!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
All supermarkets sell HXBs all year round, though the factory made ones are not a patch on ISB ones. HXBs are like teacakes with a cross piped on with flour and water. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I work in a shop and we had Creme Eggs/Mini Eggs on sale in the second week of December (!).
I also spotted Creme Eggs in WH Smith the same week.
I can't get over how many Creme Eggs we've sold since we've had them on sale; if I had my way there'd be a four week period (at least) between Christmas and sometime in January before they could be displayed. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. It's not due to Easter being earlier this year, it's been like this for years.
When I worked in a supermarket in the 90s, the cages of Easter eggs were out the back, ready to go out on Boxing day.
As otherwise that shelving space would sit empty.
It generally seems to rotate Easter, Summer/BBQ/Garden, Christmas on the seasonal aisle.
Although Asda I noticed often do an aisle for Ramadan too.0
