Got a Barclaycard deal coming to an end mid-Jan, and want to transfer the balance.
Couple of good new deals on the market but limits from those two could be low, or non existent. But have an MBNA card with a good CL so wondering how to take advantage.. potentially with a second card, and then merging limits..
32m 0%i 1.49%f looks tasty, but what's their current policy? Are they opening 2nd accounts nowadays? And if so, are they allowing us to merge CLs?

They do merge and also could give you the limit without effecting your other card as they did with me, but my wife they split it. Best way is to apply and take it from there.

thanks john.. i've had success in the past, but i have known them to move from flex to inflex and back..
how recently have you had help from them in this way?0 -
MBNA is probably one of the most flexible issuers with these sort of requests. They will probably give you a call and ask you about managing the limits. Like they did with me.0

I had a card with MBNA with a large limit and applied for a new one. Second one was a lower limit so a quick call and they switched the limits over.0
