Recommendations for Asian restaurant in Leicester

Hi,

Will be in Leicester for 2 days. Can anyone recommend any nice and reasonable Asian restaurant in Leicester?

OH and I eat fairly spicy food. Unfortunately, my 6 year old hasn't developed a taste for spicy food yet. Can someone recommend some non-spicy dishes that we can order for the little one?

Thanks for the recommendation. I just did a google on Shakonis and Indigo. They are both vegetarian restaurants. Are there any others that serve meat as well? However if the speciality in Leicester is Asian vegetarian, we will try it. Always like to try the local speciality.

Also read that The Tiffin was a winner in the Leicestershire & Rutland Restaurant Awards. Don't mind paying a bit more if the food is good and value for money.
Question - is it worth going. Don't want style over substance.

I can recommend either "Zaytoun" or "Mughal darbar" in Leicester. Both serve a selection of gorgeous food........we go to Leicester especially to eat at these places!!!!

Zaytoun is in the Highfields area I think and Mughal Darbar is near East Park Road...........
