Excel won't print gridlines

I'm using Excel 2010 and am having problems getting gridlines printed.
Have selected the option on page setup to print gridlines, also tried option on printer options to print gridlines, but it stubbornly won't give the the lines I need. Help!

Yes that's what I've been doing and it doesn't work!

This is not the greatest solution but it works to get the cell lines printed as a temporary work around. Highlight all cells and give them an inside and outside black border. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Apply-or-remove-cell-borders-on-a-worksheet-dc8a310b-92e3-46a7-9f17-2ab745810f4a
Make the borders light grey if you want them to look more like grid lines.

If you follow the guidance do you see the grid lines if you do "Print Preview"?

Whoever set up the sheet or template might have done something like setting the border colour to white (you see some strange things if you support enough users for long enough). You could first try REMOVING borders for the cell selection before you try adding then, setting them to black.
