Merging credit limits with Tesco

Tesco allow you to open two separate credit cards with them. Does anyone have any experience of merging these two cards? I know this is something a few providers will do if asked.
i.e. If I have an existing card with a £7,000 limit and zero balance, I open another to get an introductory deal and get a £3,000 limit, then merge the credit limit from the first card onto the new one to end up with one card on an introductory deal and a £10,000 limit.

Merging 2 card limits is one thing - getting the higher limit on 0% is highly improbable IMO.0

ime Tesco are inflexible with such things.
but when i have managed to merge limits with other card providers i've always managed to get the limit onto the account with the preferable deal.0 -
The only way to find out is to call them.
I have 2 MBNA cards and i asked to merge them, but they wouldn't for 2 reasons:
1. one of the cards needs to have £0 balance to merge them. the second card can have a balance on it.
2. One was a Visa and the other a Mastercard and they can't merge the 2 products.
another option would be to call them and ask what BT deals they have for you?Aiming to pay off £50,312.94 in less than 3 years - Starting from December 2015

I've only heard of merging the card accounts in Tesco Bank Online Banking so there is only one login but not merging the credit limits which stay separate.
However since you have two credit cards with two limits at the same bank I should think it would not be very difficult for them to close a card and increase the limit proportionately on the remaining card. Have you asked them about it?0 -
it sounds sensible Anthorn, but i will be pleasantly surprised of jaik comes back to tell us they have done that.0

Unfortunately this is a no-go, I just got off the phone and Tesco don't offer merging or transfer of credit limits between cards.0
