Urgent Ferry Advice Please

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to fly on saturday and now need to get a ferry from wales to ireland instead, at quite short notice obviously. We were looking at Pembroke to Rosslare or maybe fishguard to Rosslare, but haven't used either. Does anybody have any advice on either? Also being as I've never booked ferries before is there a sort of "lastminute.com" for ferry bookings or any other suggestions for driving down the cost? MTIA.
