CPP and new charge

Hi
i checked my barclaycard statement in December and noticed that i have a charge for £39.99 from CPP Card Protection. I have been slowly paying off the card, and dont spend on it anymore. I dont remember seeing this charge before, so did some googling and found all about the CPP mis selling. I am already paying Plan B with barclaycard, and don't remember signing up for a second one. I see I can no longer claim previous charges, and i cannot go back in Barclaycard to see if I was charged in November 2014.
Any suggestions on what to do next ? Do a chargeback on this one ? I did not authroise this payment, and whats stranger is I done actually have the card anymore as it expired and i did not get a new one. So how could they charge an expired old card?
Thanks for any help.

Ask Barclaycard what it is and when it was put on your account. If you dont agree with the answer then ask to be put through to the complaints team and complain about it.So how could they charge an expired old card?
Continuous payment agreements dont use the expiry date.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
