Fixed Cash ISA - Tesco Bank

Hi,
I'm thinking of opening up a new Fixed Cash ISA with Tesco Bank (no new money, just transfer) online.
Do you know how they do their ID checks for an application done online?
I'd assume Electronic Checks which should be more or less immediate, or within a day or two, but I'm not 100% sure.
The information from their website is pretty vague.
I'm not really keen on sending my actual passport, etc in the post for ID checks, as I find things sent in the post get lost.
If anyone can help.
Many thanks

I have found that they do it electronically but want a form signed before they open the account. I refuse to send in physical docs as I don't want to lose them.
But at the risk of sounding like a broken record, are you sure an ISA is the best option?0 -
I've got a credit card and current account with tesco, never sent any docs, as said above, they send a letter, you sign it and return it in a pre paid envelope0
