So you already have Tsb, nationwide and the 5+6% monthly savers?
Also why are you bothering with an isa?
I don't have a tsb regular saver. I'll have to start one when my FD regular saver matures. But where to keep the balance, only £250 a month can go in?
ISA when I've reached my cash emergency fund.0 -
You can stick at least £1,950 a month into 4-6% Regular Savings accounts.0

Unless you can make more than £5 a month cashback (unlikely without a Santander mortgage?), then Lloyds, BoS and Tesco should all be filled before Santander (that's where Archi's 26K comes from). And if you have TSB and Lloyds (and don't switch Nationwide, but maintain or downgrade instead), then you can get another £1,150 a month into their respective regular savers at an aggregate 4.5%+.0

Thanks for all your replies.
I think to keep it as simple as I can I am going to close my FD accounts and go with Halifax and TSB.
So with the Help to Buy ISA I can transfer my existing £100 from the FD Isa to Halifax. However I want to put the max £1000 in in the first month. It says on their website that the transfer can be used to fund part or all of your initial deposit up to £1,000. So do I just need to ensure I transfer the other £900 in during the first 21 days?
Sorry maybe I should be asking this question over on the ISA board!0 -
