Advice on dehumidifier

Hi, hope everyone had a good Christmas.
We are looking for a dehumidifier for our 3 bed semi with 3 people and would appreciate some advice /recommendation.
Its mainly for clothes drying and to remove mould which appears in bathroom. House in general does not have any damp problem.
First of all which type should I get, compressor one or the other type. For average homes where house temperature is at least above 10deg with heating on, it seems compressor is better at electric usage but then again some websites state the opposite. I am also concerned about how much noise the compressor one will make compared to decaissant type.
Would appreciate any recommendations and advice on what features to look out for.
Thanks very much.

Compressor models are fine as long as you don't want to have it running near you when you sleep.
You'll probably only need it running during the day anyway, turning it off at night.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
I bought a dessicant type for my son to use in his house. It works very well and is primarily used for drying clothes indoors.0
