loft insulation

I just bought some Knauf Ecoroll fibre glass from B&Q 100mm 7.2m long, 1.14m wide £18 reduced to £9 a roll for Xmas/New Year
It is very compact on the roll about 10mm thick and this is supposed to be 100mm thick.
How difficullt is it going to be to fluff up to the required 100mm ?
My rafters are 100mm thick
I am wondering now whilst it is cheap, whether to buy more than I need incase it does not fluff up very much.

it's compressed, no fluffing up required. saw it to the correct width (if need be) whilst it's wrapped, then open one in the loft in position, roll it out, pull away the wrapping, and it will expand to 100mm0

You can put another 100 mm thick running cross-ways over the first layer if you want.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

A stanley knife or bg scissors to cut it to length. It'll gradually decompress to the full 100mm once laid.
Wear gloves and a face mask!
And yes, another layer laid crossways perhaps: you can't really over-insulate. Remember to leave air gaps at the edges where the roof meets the attic floor. You do need air to get in and circulate within the attic above the insulation.
Don't insulate beneath water tanks (warm air below stops them freezing), but do insulat around them, and ideally use an insulated tank cover.0
