  • Ted talks back on Neo, nice and easy : )
  • Hi! I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but has anyone got any experience with the Shoemoney network offer on Clixsense? Is it a similar set up to the tasks on crowdflower? I used to enjoy them, but since you have to log in with Facebook, Ive been wary.

I haven't any experience with that but I can say that the FB log on for Crowdflower makes no difference to your CF or FB accounts. If it makes you feel better then make an FB account with the email account you use for CF and use it just for that. I know that several people do this. I just use my regular account and nothing happens - I set all my privacy settings to the max for them just in case.

I've seen that ad too. No, it's nothing like CF tasks. Here's a snippet I found online...
Shoemoney Network is a free internet marketing training program created by Jeremy Schoemaker aka Shoemoney of Shoemoney.com that pays you to learn the basics of internet marketing and making money online. What’s unique about it is that it incentivizes your training by paying you for completing actions in each of the different levels of the program.

After I signed up and watched the intro video for the program, the first task was to post a link from Jeremy’s blog on Facebook. After I did that and got one click on my post, I received my first dollar via PayPal.

After that, I had to purchase a hosting package with Bluehost in order to continue. The cheapest 12 month starter package is $4.95 a month, which came out to $59.40 total, and also included a free domain for life.

I then continued through the program by setting up my website with a WordPress blog, installed plugins and did some other small tasks, created a newsletter and autoresponder with GetResponse using a free 30-day trial, made a Facebook page, and finally wrote a review of the program.

Several of these tasks pay out $1 to you, and by the end of the 2nd level (different colored karate belts mark each level), I earned $3, and by the end of level 6 I earned $9. Apparently you’re supposed to earn $15 overall by the end of the program, but I’m not sure why I only ended up with $9. The last task is to boost your review post on Facebook for $5 and then Jeremy will reimburse your $5.

It's not quite what the ads make it out to be is it! If you're looking for something similar to Crowdflower then take a look at Microworkers and UHRS. As for logging in with Facebook, I've been doing it since they started asking and have never noticed any adverse effects.
  • Thanks Joeyjimbles and surveyqueenuk for replying. I think I'll give the Shoemoney network a miss, but I'll look at Microworkers and UHRS. Thanks very much for the information and help :)
  • Nice, easy task on Neo...

(Maxed out at 11 tasks but nice and easy while they lasted.)

Worth seeing if you can get through the early stages intact. I have no idea what the limit is, and cannot find much chatter about it anywhere.

Very, very quick. I've done 260 so far. Rather hoping I'll max out at 261 to prevent my brain withering any further.
