Anker Phone Charger

Hi,

I bought this from Amazon as a replacement charger for my wife's Motorola Defy+ phone.

Plugged the charger into the phone and it indicates that it is charging but a couple of seconds later the charging message disappears. I have been using the charger from a Hudl tablet previously to charge the Defy and this still works ok, The Anker charger will charge the Hudl and my Motorola Moto G but it refuses to charge the Defy+.

I thought the whole idea of using a USB charger is that a single charger works with any device. Any thoughts before I send the item back to Amazon for a refund?

Mine works with a Lumia and my Kindle - wonder if you have been unlucky and got a faulty one or perhaps the actual connection on your wife's phone is faulty?

I think the phone connection is ok because it charges off the Hudl charger (have tried various USB cables with both chargers so I know it is not down to a particular cable fault).

I have emailed the support address at Anker so hopefully will get some more information after the hollidays
