  • Right, about time for an update. No eBay so far this year (because listings take so long and I haven't had time). But I have sold a dozen things on local selling group; highlights include a bottle of perfume, some vintage speakers, an old iPod, a graphics tablet and my grandmother's knitting machine. Total so far is £135. I've also swapped at least a dozen things for fruit or chocolate -- I don't really count that but of course that does cut our grocery bill in the case of bananas or give us a treat in the case of choc.

I should probably go find decluttering threads, but my parents are talking about downsizing and they have more storage space in their house than we have house. So we've taken 2 carfuls of stuff away so far and there's a lot still to go -- and very little of it can stay with us, mostly it needs to find good homes.
Make £2023 in 2023: (all decluttering), current total £2860 me, £330 for friends & family, £468 charity donations.
  • Hi everyone, not posted for a while but I have been selling bits and bobs 'behind the scenes'. I sold a John Lewis voucher I got for Christmas on Zeek that I was never going to use. I have also sold a few books on 'We Sell Books' and I'm about to send some stuff off to be weighed and paid by Clothes for Cash. I am trying to avoid selling on eBay because I HATE it! Anyway, good luck everyone.

    Zeek - £20
    We Buy Books - £18.17
