Free listings - all of January?

The community boards have several mentions of this 'unlimited' offer- and all are being told there is no limit other than that imposed by your own account (ie new sellers with a listing limit). At lease one person claims to have listed in excess of 100 with no charge.

Personally I doubt I'll get anywhere near 100 let alone over, but if I do I would just make sure that any listings show as free, and also keep an eye on my invoice and be ready to phone at the first sign of an issue.

I always wonder though how many people fill their boots with these and then get the dreaded forced upgrade to a business account? I have several large collections of things here, even several cases of stamps from my dad's collection, plus postcards and other things family members have collected in bulk and which have come down to me. I could easily list 1000 items (assuming I had the time or the inclination) - but suspect several hundreds postcards or bits from a stamp collection could see me being upgraded by February.

Fair point. I will have to bear that in mind and be careful. I have a collection of stamps and coins (my own) which I was going to list. I will do it in small doses.

T&C 5.5 suggests the offer is actually limited to only 100 listings (although this may be a typo), and T&C 5.7 says these free listings will not count towards your 20 monthly free listings. SO, once you accept this offer, you will not be able to use your December free listings!

I haven't received an invitation but I've listed items and they've all been free so far - already used free December ones.

Has anybody tried relisting with this offer? I've been away for a few weeks, so have ended all of my listings at the time and would like to relist all of them now. However, after trailing out with 1 item, I can see that my January allocation of 20 is now in fact 19 :-(

I believe that the 20 monthly listings are used up first.

Yes, I have been using this offer. As Olgadapolga said, all the January allocation is used up first. After that you can list as many as you like - no limit. The only thing is that it doesn't show on your selling pages so you can't see how many you have used - not that it matters!

According to Alan the pink on the community boards every private UK seller who is standard or above and has an account in good standing is entitled to this offer now.

As has been said several times now, the January allocation is used first and then the offer kicks in. As usual though check your 21st listing 'before' you confirm listing to make sure it is free.

is there a limit to how many items you can list , i listed 60 items on sunday to run for 7 days if i dont sell i can relist again and again for the rest of the month ?
