Hello guys
Anyone have any advice on how best to go about making a $2000 dollar purchase from USA.
I'd like to minimise the currency costs.
And maintain some form of buyer protection if goods become faulty in future. As items in question do have a spotty build history.
Any advice from anyone who has done something similar?

Don't forget the import duty which could be as much as $500 on top of the ticket price.
As for protection you have no UK consumer rights and are bound by the USA laws so any problems could get very expensive to remedy even with S75 protection.
If you think the build history is dodgy they you are taking a gamble, is the savings worth this gamble considering the import duty on top?0 -
sadly they don't make these gadgets in the UK or sell them here.
i completely forgot about taxes.
I'll be paying taxes twice at this rate.0
