I agree. One member of my extended family runs around in a leased Bentley GT Continental but doesn't know if he has the money for the next mortgage payment.
I park my 07 reg toyota outside and prefer being debt free.0 -

But if you were ever in the market for a used Bentley GT it would be nice that your family member has paid for it through the nose for a few years making it more affordable for you!0 -

Thanks all for the input. We don't have the £13K to pay it off as the plan was to use money from our employee share save scheme finishing but foolishly I got the dates wrong by roughly 8 months. A mistake I wont be making again and certainly taught me a lesson.
I love the car and based on some research think it would be suitable for several years yet. Still debating the extended warranty.0 -
Don't debate the warranty.
Just research camchains.
That should scare you enough to want an extended warranty.
They all get noisy eventually.
Though apparently there is an new 2.0d lump that has had the issue solved completely but I can't really confirm that or deny it just sharing that info.
They did improve the old engine but I know of two people that had the camchain need replacing at huge cost and they had ones with the updated engine. Don't know what they changed it was probably the tensioner and chain guides.0
