Mobile Phone Contract

I have got a contract from EE which is a Microsoft Nokia Lumia 550, this phone came out just under 2 months ago, so it is fairly new.
I have paying £17.49 for Unlimited Texts, 500 Minutes, and 500MB.
This is a 2 year contract, and I think I'm paying way too much, as I hardly use the phone...I just think it is such a high price...Are there any tips to get the price down? Or shall I just deal with it?

Too late now, they won't budge at all. You are also getting ripped off.
The phone is about ~£90 new. At the price you're paying i'd expect unlim mins and few GB of data
Minus the phone (£90) from your 24 month price, you're paying ~£14/mo for the SIM. You can get non-contract plans with unlim mins, txt and 3gb data0 -
The time to get a price down is before you agree the contract. I suspect you're stuck with it for the two year period now. There is a mobile phone forum on here whose users may be able to give you better advice.0

My father is with EE, they reduced his monthly bill from £50 to £25 a month, but made it longer. But not more expensive, a bit cheaper.
I never buy phones on contracts, I buy it outright or I don't buy it. My current phone is three years old.0 -

Anyway, your paying nearly £18 for that, they saw you coming. I cant see EE downgrading your contract, can ask but expect to be told no.
Should have thought of the cost before agreeing to the contract.
In 2 years time get a sim only plan as I bet you can get better usage allowances for less money.0
