A pheasant could come under feathered road kill.
What a find. You're brave picking it up and taking it home. Did you hit it or see it being hit? I would worry about how long it had been there.
No, I didn't see it get hit but it was still warm so had only just been killed. I was originally intending to feed it to my dog until I picked it up and realised how fresh it was. Wasn't about to let a free meal go to waste0 -

I'm often finding change on the ground and my friends always snigger when I pick it up. Would love to know what it adds up to over the course of a year!
