Probably the clutch
Should be able to get it replaced for around £250 if it is indeed the clutchChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
Have you either not driven the car for some time or driven through deepish water or splash recently? Could be clutch plate getting a little rust coating on splines, or could be a developing clutch fault.:grouphug: Threewheeler0

Could try running car and whilst stationary changing gear, forward and back, make sure that you are away fron other vehicles and obstacles, just in case the clutch jams in gear, you should be ready to switch off the ignition to stop the car if you cannot disengage gear.
So just move forward and back a few feet each time and report back if it cures the noise.:grouphug: Threewheeler0 -
