Happy Christmas everyone :xmassign:
Csarina, I think that some people are just beyond pathetic attacking you when you are so vulnerable. Please keep posting here if it helps you. I am positive that we will all be here listening to you and holding you in our thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry you have to put up with horrible comments on your blog. Wishing you peace my sweetheart xx
Well our Christmas started at 5.30 so I've already been back to bed for a quick power nap to get me through. I have decided to not get stressed about cooking the dinner and I am just pottering in the kitchen putting things in the oven and dinner will be ready when it's ready.
The girls have had a lovely morning, they were very excited to get their laptops. Now is the fun of setting them up with the wonderful Windows 8 . My hubby is in charge of that as I just end up wanting to throw the things across the room :rotfl::rotfl:. Hopefully we will be able to upgrade them to Windows 10 asap.
I had lots of presents so I feel very blessed. Hubby liked all his gifts too and even the dog has had a stocking. It is very harmonious here at the moment until after lunch when the board games come out. It starts well but always ends up with someone stomping off to their room
. Ah well it wouldn't be Christmas without the odd squabble.
I hope you all have a lovely day whatever you are up to. Take care xx0 -

Merry Christmas OSers.
csarina and Topsy, special thoughts are with you.
Went out for a meal last night for DS2s birthday, got free taxis each way with vouchers. Meal ok but nothing special.
DS2 cooked breakfast this morning, we've been for a walk round Glasgow Green and popped into the People's Palace, lovely to see it open. Ham in the oven, dinner when it's cooked!

Afternoon everybody, happy Christmas to you all, much love, especially to Csarina, Elona,Floss and Topsy.
I woke up this morning tona phone call from DD3 in Australia, to say that her OH of 13 years had proposed, on one knee, having bought the ring himself! We are all delighted, just hope that they dont take another 13 years to tie the knot!
I am relaxing with a glass of water.......too early for anything stronger for me.........just 7 for dinner, my brother, DDs 1 & 4, 4s OH, her son, OH and me. Twins will be here too of course, but at five months will not be partaking of the feast!
Enjoy your day, try to ignore the people intent on being hurtful......they are just as unhappy as they deserve to be.

Good Afternoon everyone and Merry Christmas to each and every one of you. Hugs and much love to all especially those who have been bruised and hurt by other peoples thoughtless and unkind behaviour and words, life should be kinder especially at times like Christmas but no one should be hurt when they are already in pain.
We've had a quiet but very nice day, walked Cookie twice and had cinnamon whirls for breakfast and roast goose for lunch, had some nice presents and a visit from a neighbour who is on her own and I hope she will be coming to us for supper and perhaps a silly board or card game too, we'll see what we feel like later. Zebra has had a lovely day too, he got a brio train set, a helicopter, a red wooden aeroplane, some books and from us a big jar full of farm animals, big present will be here for him when they visit tomorrow, can't wait!!!
Hope you have all had a nice day doing what makes you comfortable and content, Lyn xxx.0 -
Evening all,
my day was pleasant enough but trying to fit round everybody elses plans whilst trying to cook a Christmas dinner didnt work out so well.
Being told where i was going wrong by someone who has never cooked a meal in his life didnt work out so well either.
Even so, today has been a blessing.

We had a lovely walk round York and then came back to cook dinner. Just fifteen minutes before the meal should have finished cooking - the lights went out!! We checked the circuit board, turned things on and off and eventually worked out the problem was with the main oven which is gas but has an electric ignition
Fortunately the meal was fine and I will get someone to look at the oven in a few days.
Gentle hug to all especially Deleted_User"This site is addictive!"
