I've tried to access online banking via Chrome on Ubuntu but it thinks that the secure socket layer has been compromised. This doesn't happen on Firefox, but could this be that Firefox's security is so lax that it missed it?

Chrome on Windows has no issue for me accessing that domain.
What IP address is the domain resolving to for you. Here is what I get from a ping....

No certificate errors for me in Chrome on Kubuntu when I go login to online banking0

The likely problem is that for some reason you don't have Entrust's root certificate installed in Chrome. Look at the chain of certificates and see which one Chrome is complaining about.0

BTW that is chromium you are running, not chrome0

I don't even know if that means looking on the browser or the website :embarassesecurityguy wrote: »Look at the chain of certificates
