I think im wired up wrong ! Christmas is sorted early so i'm doing gardening now in the cold !
Getting a man in to sort the rough bits and remove rubble etc on Tuesday, hubbys had long enough to sort it now all he has to do is pay and we have had wood delivered today that i will [weather permitting] treat tomorrow so its all ready to sort the fence out next week .
This has all started because my incompetant neighbour said he is replacing my wire fence with one made out of pallets !! over my dead body he will , ive seen his handy work.Think Steptoe and you will get the idea of his gardening style .lol

Left the OH to chat to my brother and figure out something to get him, they have similar interests so it's not weird if he starts asking about his games and things, if I started asking he would know something's a miss.
When to the sainsbos toy sale today for my niece, not all of it is half price, some toys are cheaper and a certain toy super store acording to other shoppers. But I picked up two disney themed thing for her even if they were a little cheaper else where I don't live near a toy shop or the disney store so I've saved on petrol and could collect points so I like to see that as free money to make me feel better. Buying for her gets me over excited for the big day kids have the best reactions to gifts. just have to resist giving them to her early.

Added some daisy perfume for ds2s gf to my list.

Thank you so much for posting this as now I have bought one too, and a 'Walking Dead' Monopoly. My husband will be proper chuffed. He is sure there is going to be one any day.

    Thanks for those MRSM.

GTQ I did mugs with three sachets of different hot chocs in and a mini bag of cookies (from a multipack) and put them in cellophane Santa bags. Think they cost me about £2.20 each except the o es where I already had the mugs :D Hope you can sort your bookmarks out, unfortunately I haven't got anything much to contribute in the way if ideas.

CHRISSEY I think the mild weather is the cause of your gardening activity, I keep looking out and thinking the grass needs another cut if for no other reason than to pick up the millions of leaves that are falling in our garden from the hideously overgrown garden that sides onto ours! They've got the ugliest beech tree you can imagine and just jet it self seed so there are now lots of mini beech trees too. We had the big one lopped a couple of years ago but it's still huge. We're in a conservation area so gave to get permission to do anything to them.:(

0462 glad things have turned around with the job, it's so much nicer when you enjoy your work.

MANDCO I know that feeling, happened to me the other day and it was so difficult to remember all I'd written.

FREE I can def recommend AO for electrical equipment, they deliver within days and their customer service is good too. We've bought all our big electrical stuff from them plus some for the children. I'm with you on getting rid of 2016, it seems to have been a difficult year for everyone. Fingers crossed for 2017 being an improvement!

Well DH isn't well again today, going to ring the docs in the morning and insist on an emergency appointment (our GP doesn't work on Thursdays). I think they need to stop !!!!!footing around with his pills and get some investigations goin. I'm going to ask for him to be referred for a colonoscopy and also back to the heart clinic for investigations for his dizziness, constant tiredness and being cold all the time. He does have heart failure but that's shouldn't mean they don't look at him when he's poorly. Rant over lol. Off to the hospital for line care shortly then I'll be spending the afternoon in the land of miniatures getting DGD's Shopkins Shop finished before she comes up next week.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :
  • Sorted the book marks! Have ordered little bright silver bells so the jingles are sorted and white wooden buttons in the shape of a star, so got the Star of Bethlehem sorted. Put them all together and bung in a bag with a label saying My Christmas Bookmark. Hopefully kids will want to get them for a parent or grandparent, if they are marked at £1.25 each & we get a £1, it will be value for money.
A smile costs little but creates much :)
