Bank fees

I have a Santander 123 a/c. My fee has always been taken on the 7th of the month. That is until my December statement, which had no fee deducted. Are they waiting till after the 11th. So they can charge me the new £5 fee in January ? have any other sme members noticed the same. What does Martin think ?

Doubt they're waiting to charge more, i've had mine charged yesterday as per normal they go out on 23rd or 24th of every month for me.

I have two Santander 123 accounts and both have had the charge for December taken on the same date as normal so doubt it is that. Have you changed anything else on the account or have they changed you to Santander 123 select? That changes the statement and fee date.
