its not a fine , its a begging letter!
no debt collector can issue court papers , so have a good xmas.
if they cannot be $%sed writing the name of the parking Co and the location/times why should you chase them?
only in the case of a letter before action , or court papers FROM THE PARKING CO , do you need to come back hereSave a Rachael

2 choices -
1. Ignore
or
2. write back to DRP saying words to the effect of I know nothing about this, no previous correspondence, any debt is denied so please refer back to your client.
Have a read of the Newbies thread and decide which course you take.0 -
Write a long letter asking them for full details, then, when they reply, ask them again the questions which they ignored. Keep this up for another five years and the matter will have timed out,You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Just to reiterate, it is not a fine.
Where did this happen? England and Wales or Scotland and NI?
Private parking tickets can safely be ignored in Scotland and Northern Ireland but not elsewhere.
Debt collectors can be safely ignored anywhere in the UK. Alternatively as already advised, you can write to them denying the debt then ignore. If you have the time and energy to waste their time, you could do as The Deep has suggested.I married my cousin.
