16+ Fixed Rate Savings Bonds

I'd be appreciative if any of you can direct me towards some high interest fixed rate savings bonds.

I have checked some already but quite a few are for 18+ and unfortunately Loughborough BS has stopped their 6.71% 16+ bond due to oversubscription.

At the moment i'm stuck trying to find one that's available for 16-year-olds, so any information would be helpful.

Try Harpenden Building Society.

They do a high interest account for upto 18 year old with a follow on account for upto 21 year old.

I opened one for my 3 year old daughter earlier this year and have had brilliant service - send cheques off to add to account and they are put in and book returned within about 2 days.

I had a look at their site and it seems like a great account. I hadn't thought about an up to 18 account, but this is even better than the 16+ bonds i've seen so far.

If anyone knows of any other accounts i'd be very interested, otherwise i'm happy to go ahead with this.
