The Range Sale free postage glitch

Just been told of a glitch and it seems to work - its free postage for over £50 but if you order some white glitter Christmas baubles http://www.therange.co.uk/fcp/product/The-Range//White-Glitter-Bauble-S/6/116461 the postage disappears - even n a small order.

Just tried it, got as far as the "make payment" button, and the delivery charge of £4.95 is still there.

Don't think its just with those baubles now either. But you have to keep adding things till the postage in the total in the top of the page disappears - you'll see the total drop. Then you can go into the basket and delete what you don't want - but if you delete too much the postage may come back - you just need to keep trying.


There is also a discount applied as well - have done two small orders - both with discount and no postage added. Last order:

So I've had £28.42 of items for just over £9.

The postage increased by £4.95 for every item I added to basket, so for five ornaments at under £1 each, the final postage ended up as £24.75!

I then added the baubles, removed some things and the baubles, added something else and then the postage disappeared. I found it quite tricky to get it to work.

I bought the hanging santa reindeer with plane (reduced from £5.99) hanging woodland snowman, jumbo gift bag and large gift bag. Sub total for four items £4.77, less promo £1.82, final amount paid £2.95.

It is strange. I had to add the baubles and some wrapping paper so I've started shopping for next year. Will have to put them somewhere safe or I'll forget.

Still working but you have to fiddle quite a bit - and if you remove too much from your basket the postage comes back.
