Evening all, No 127 reporting in.

Managed (and i don't know how) to max this month's OP, the first time this year. So this makes May's OP to £500 :)

Well I do know why I haven't maxed any before, Hubby and I decided to try doing a Buy to Let - arghhh, 2 months in after the paying the new mortgage (and sorry to say it's interest only) it's still not rented out :( Having said that, it's one of those long term family homes (not a modern 2-bed professional homes) so should expect 3-6 year rental.

Now as any MFW knows, whats the first thing to do, start OP'g. So once this is rented out, that's the plan.

If anyone knows of anyone wanting a 3/4 bedroom home in south Leeds, 12 mins bus ride to bus station, let me know :) Its got views and parking ...

Good luck to everyone over half-term, in trying to spend as tiny amount as possible :P

    Hi all.. #52 here :)

Still (just about) keeping on track for the target, over 50% there but including a bonus which arrived in March.

Been using an Instant Pot recently which has run up some tasty meals at not much cost (:))

On the other hand my laptop died and "had" to buy a Surface Pro 4... not MSE but a great new toy :)

Spreadsheet updated - hope everyone's having a nice, relaxing bank holiday in the sunshine. I've been doing the update while ... um ... 'multitasking' with a beer and a barbecue, so (even more than usual) if I've made a mistake then let me know and i'll fix it :D

lazer-zxr - welcome aboard! Hopefully nothing to be too apprehensive about, although the OP's can get a bit addictive at times! Are there any OPs so far that you'd like to count?

anna42hmr - I've updated your target, good luck!

jodles16 and linzipinz - well done on reaching your targets already :)

MortgageFreeMimi - well done on the huge OP (...rather than the holiday, as I did..!)

Reached a new milestone, mortgage now starts with a £16X instead of a £17X! :D

Well done on ticking down through a milestone, I find those very motivational too :)

Pleased with that. I think that puts us back in the green so I can stop fixating on the MFW spreadsheet!

    You're blue now :)

    #80 update
    £740 for April
    £2930 for May

    Thanks

My ISA has expired and decided it made better sense to put what little is in there into paying off mortgage than languishing in a silly % interest account!
