No 67 reporting for February, with an overpayment of £500 (bringing my 2016 total to £1,000).
I've received my first letter with a revised end date based on my first overpayment. Even though I knew the impact it would have it was motivating to see it in black and white.
Thanks for running the thread. It's really good to see the progress of others!

hello 105 here for my February op, which is £116.52. If its not too much trouble can i increase my target please for the year to £5500

I'm not sure if i will make the new target it but want to give it a go. My fix is due to end in November and have realised (as long as no new price crashes!!) that i may be able to get to 60% LTV if i give the ops a push and increased focus (so fingers crossed that may lead to a lower interest rate when i product transfer.

Well done everyone on the op's so far, really enjoy reading everyones experiences.

  • Not an overpayment - but my two year fixed is up in March. I went on the principality website and logged in.

It recognised my two year fixed was up and gave me about 16 options of what I could choose. I was going to pick a 5 year fixed which meant my payment would go up about £45 per month but in the end opted for a two year variable rate at 1.55% which means my monthly payment will drop by about £70.

My point is I wasn't expecting to be able to change without providing any current paperwork and it being a simple tick of a box on their website
