GSP Shambles

Can anyone please advise or assist ??

I purchased an item on 21/11/15 on Ebay.com from the USA as the item was sold out everywhere in the UK and Europe for Christmas. The latest delivery date of 14/12/15 has been and passed and still no item.

Tracking showed item arrived in UK on 02/12/15 and nothing since. I contacted the buyer, no response, I contact the courier company who stated, if the item has not progressed through their delivery network within 48 hours of last update then it is most likely lost.

I then had to open an item not received claim on Ebay and have nothing but trouble ever since. First off all they responded stating my claim was on hold until 31/12/15 !!!! as the item may still arrive ??? When I spoke to someone from Ebay they saw common sense and changed the hold on the claim until 19/12/15.....I then received another email on 20/12/15....your claim is on hold until 04/01/16.... I have taken to social media to shame Ebay.......they are refusing to budge.

Trying to find guidance on how long I need to wait for non receipt of an item is a mine field on Ebay !!!.......

Item purchased and paid for 21/11/15.......item not received....Ebay response.....tough.....wait until 04/01/16 it may still turn up ??? Are the having a laugh ??? I now have no gift(which is still sold out everywhere and no money either for non receipt of it).....Can anyone point me in the right direction ???

I assume you meant seller. The seller isn't responsible and can do very little. They send it to an address is the US and then it is forwarded sometimes repackaged to its destination.

You could try again with the U.K. carrier, otherwise you have little option but to wait for the case to resolve.

To be honest buying at the end of November is cutting it fine without GSP in the equation.

Cutting it fine ? Purchasing an item 21/11/15 ??? I posted an item to the states GSP ..it was there inside 7 days...and to Japan..delivered 3 days GSP...So I really doubt 32 days and counting from purchase..is cutting it fine.

I understand the case has to be resolved. The question I asked is does anyone know or can point me to the right direction in Ebay guidelines on how long someone actually has to wait ???

Yes cutting it fine. So many people use the "I bought this from another seller on the same day and it came X days before yours".....GSP is a bit like a lorry at the back of a warehouse waiting to be filled. When there are enough parcels it will go.....likewise the lorry next to it, bound for France will go before because it's full.

You are comparing items YOU sent to items someone else did.

The guidelines are, you have the guidelines.

    BTW your ? is stuck.
