in Credit cards
Hi,
I have a fair amount on my Barclaycard that was originally 0% (I was silly and didn't pay before 0% was up)
I have balance on my next and very account and the idea is to combine all 3 (including Barclaycard) to a 0% balance transfer card and set up a direct debit to clear my debt.
my question: is it better to pay very and next accounts with existing Barclaycard and then transfer full amount or is there a way when opening a new balance transfer card that you can add the two accounts, or is that not possible?
really need some advice as want to do this pretty soon!
thank you

I've never used Very or Next so I don't know if they're actually credit cards or not.
So the answer is
A) if they are credit cards;
Transfer each one onto your 0% card individually. This is because it is usually not free to transfer, there is a fee of about 3%, so if you transfer them twice, you'll pay the fee twice.if they are not credit cards but instead are just credit agreements;
Pay them with your barclaycard then transfer the whole balance to your new 0% card.
The reason I say this is because you can usually only transfer balances from other credit cards, not different types of credit agreement.
But make sure you have the 0% card ready and waiting (and with a high enough credit limit) before you do, otherwise you'll have everything on your barclaycard at the standard (high) rate. (Of course, very and next might be just as high)0
