I am trying to make my own Christmas cards and have purchased some nice card blanks and envelopes from the Works.
I have made a little "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" script in Word, in A4 format (because I don't know how to do any different), but the cards are 176mm x 252mm (176mm x 126mm "landscape" when folded) and I don't know how to set the printer up or alter the Word document to get the text in the right place on the card.

Go to the Page Layout tab, then click on size.
If yours isn't a standard size, you can use custom.
Experiment with ordinary paper cut to the size of your cards till you get it just right!0 -

Is the page layout tab in Word or printer setup Paul, because my printer setup has options for original document size and output paper size - I have tried playing with those but it still doesn't work.:(0 -
In Word. May depend on your version of Word where it is, but in mine it's on the top row.0

Page Layout, Size, More Paper Sizes, input your own dimensions in mm. You will also have to have a printer with an adjustable tray or feeder otherwise your card will slide about if you try to put it into an A4 tray or feeder0

Cheers guys, I have sorted it now and have printed out a dozen cards.
It was the Epson printer refusing to recognise the new sizes, so I had to give it a reboot - switched it off and on.0
